CRYSTAL JONES
FOR AK HOUSE DISTRICT 36

One of Us.
Fighting for All of Us.
I'm Crystal Jones, and I'm running for State Representative in District 36. I grew up on Kodiak Island and I've spent the last decade living in rural Alaska — in a tiny house in Nelchina, hauling water, building my own home, and feeling every spike in energy costs firsthand. Our PFD keeps getting taken by politicians who don't live like we do. I know what this district needs because I live it every day — and I'm ready to fight for it.
Restore the Full PFD. Represent the People.
I'm Crystal Jones — your neighbor, and your next State Representative for House District 36.
I live in a tiny house in Nelchina. I haul my own water. I'm building my home with my own hands. When temperatures drop to -40, I'm right there with you figuring out how to keep the pipes from freezing and the heating costs from eating the whole paycheck.
I'm not telling you this to impress you. I'm telling you because you deserve to know that the person asking for your vote actually lives this life — not someone who visits during campaign season and forgets about us in January.
Our Permanent Fund Dividend is something every Alaskan is entitled to. It was supposed to be our share of Alaska's wealth — yours, mine, all of ours. And it keeps getting taken. Year after year, politicians find a reason to raid it while the rest of us stretch every dollar further than it should have to go. Our current representative voted against the full PFD. That's not a tough call or a complicated policy decision. That's a broken promise to every single family in this district.
I've spent my career managing programs and working alongside people in nonprofits, schools, and tourism — and I've learned that getting things done doesn't require a fancy title or a big budget. It requires showing up, being honest, and actually caring about the outcome for Alaskans.
I'm not a career politician. I'm your neighbor. And I'm asking for your vote.
